and set this body ablaze—
watch as the flames lick my body clean.

through ashes and gunpowder
I will be reborn in a flash of phoenix glory. 

bursting like fireworks, let my heart ignite 
so that I may be the stars
that illuminate your night sky.
i am your fire burning bright.
